Prithviraj Sukumaran Education
He received his early schooling in Tamil Nadu, where he attended both Shrine Vailankanni Senior Secondary School (located in T. Nagar, Chennai) and St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School (located in Coonoor). After moving to Kerala with his family, he attended The NSS Public School Perunthanni, St. Mary’s Residential Central School, Poojappura (which was conveniently located near his new home in Chengallur). The school’s Annual Day Celebrations included him in several plays and skits. He attended secondary schools in Thiruvananthapuram, at both Sainik School Kazhakoottam and Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan. Prithviraj Sukumaran, along with his brother Indrajith. He also competed in elocution and debate competitions while in school. Prithviraj is the only individual in history to win “Mr LA Fest” at Loyola School’s annual inter-school arts competition in Thiruvananthapuram in consecutive years.
As he was finishing up his bachelor’s degree in IT at the University of Tasmania in Australia, he got a call from director Ranjith Balakrishnan offering him the lead role in his film Nandanam.
Prithviraj Sukumaran Early Life
Both of his famous parents, Sukumaran and Mallika, were born in the city of Trivandrum in the Indian state of Kerala. His older brother, Indrajith, and sister-in-law, Poornima, are both actors. His primary educational establishment was the nearby St. Mary’s School in Poojappura, Chengallur. He took part in several of the plays and skits performed at the local holiday celebrations. After seeing him play Sukumaran in one of the annuals, his father reportedly told his mother that he was destined for acting.
After his solid showing in Nandanam, he received numerous acting offers and decided to postpone his studies. Prithviraj married BBC reporter Supriya Menon on April 25, 2011, at a resort in the vicinity of Palakkad.

He made his debut in Malayalam films in 2002. Quickly after, he was approached about starring in Tamil films. In a short amount of time, he rose to prominence in the Malayalam and Tamil speaking communities. After seeing his recent films, “Chocolate,” “Satham Podathey,” and “Kannamoochi Yenada,” the national publication The Hindu declared, “Prithiviraj is one of the young stars who will still be in the weighing up.”
