Udayanidhi Stalin Education
Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Egmore, Chennai, and Loyola College in Chennai both produced him with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1997. Grandfather Udhayanidhi Stalin, M Karunanidhi, served as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for nearly two decades, from 1969 to 2011, over the course of five terms. M. Karunanidhi passed away in 2018 after a protracted illness.

On November 27, 1977, Udhayanidhi Stalin was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is the grandson of the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi, and the son of MK Stalin, a former Deputy Chief Minister. His family tree has deep roots in both politics and Tamil cinema dating back to the 1960s. His cousins Arulnithi Azhagiri and Dayanidhi Azhagiri are also in the entertainment industry. Kiruthiga is married to Udhayanidhi Stalin, who is the editor-in-chief of the lifestyle magazine Inbox 1305 and the director of the film Vanakkam Chennai (2013) for Red Giant Movies. Both a son, Inbanithi, and a daughter, Tanmaya, were born to the happy couple.
Udayanidhi Stalin Career
After making his directorial debut with the 2008 Tamil film Kuruvi, Udhayanidhi Stalin went on to produce two more films by K. S. Ravikumar: Aadhavan (2009) and Manmadan Ambu (2010). In 2012, Stalin made his acting debut alongside Hansika Motwani and Santhanam in the romantic comedy Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.
Stalin’s Red Giant Movies production company expanded into the Indian film industry. It was the action comedy Kuruvi that marked his first film as a producer (2008). The film’s main characters were portrayed by Vijay and Trisha Krishnan.
Aadhavan, an action comedy released on Diwali in 2009, was his second film as a producer. The romantic comedy “Manmadan Ambu” was his third feature (2010).
