Nithiin Kumar Reddy is the son of film distributor Sudhakar Reddy and actress Laxmi Reddy. His older sister’s name is Nikitha Reddy. Before earning his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Shadan College of Engineering and Technology in Gandipet, he started out at Geetanjali School, also in Begumpet. Eventually, his dad made the decision to enter the film industry, and the two of them collaborated on the films Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and Chinnadana Nee Kosam.

Nithin has just adopted the spelling Nithiin for his surname. After dating for a long time, Nithiin finally popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Shalini Kandukuri in the year 2020.
