Mohan Babu Wiki and Biography: Manchu Bhakthavatsalam Naidu, also known by his stage name Mohan Babu, is an Indian actor and producer. He is best known for his Telugu movie roles. After earning his degree from the Madras Film Institute, Mohan Babu has since starred in more than 500 movies.
He won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu for his work in the 1995 multi-starrer Pedarayudu, in which Rajinikanth also had a significant role. He received the CineMAA Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2007 for his role in Yamadonga.

Mohan Babu Education
After completing his elementary education in Yerpedu, he transferred to S.P.J.N.M. High School in Tirupati. Mohan Babu first expressed an interest in acting at the age of 14 and started participating in school plays.
His principal father constantly encouraged him to pursue a career in education. Mohan Babu moved to Chennai during this time, where he attended the YMCA College of Physical Education and earned a degree in physical education there.

He received a degree in physical education from the city of Chennai. He briefly served as a physical education teacher before making his film debut in Telugu. In the first five years of the 1970s, Mohan Babu directed. He entered the public eye as an actor with the release of Swargam Narakam.

He was given the stage name Mohan Babu rather than his birth name, Bakthavatsalam Naidu, after the success of this movie.
Following a string of comedic roles as the bad guy, he went on to star in a number of movies, including Khaidi Kalidasu, Ketugadu, Gruhapravesham, Assembly Rowdy, Allari Mogudu, and a number of others. After his success in Telugu cinema, Mohan Babu, an artist at heart, became interested in the happenings in Tamil cinema. Mohan Babu’s filmography reveals that when Sivaji Ganesan gave him the go-ahead to engage in the Tamil cinema industry, he took on a range of roles in more than 20 movies.
He then continued to Rayalaseema.
