She attended Kodagu’s Coorg Public School (COPS) for her secondary education before enrolling in a pre-university program at the Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts. After completing her secondary education, Rashmika continued her education at the MS Ramaiah College of Arts Science & Commerce in Bengaluru, where she obtained degrees in Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature.

Rashmika Mandanna competed in the Clean & Clear Fresh Face of India contest in 2014, finishing in second place. In the same year, she was appointed Clean & Clear’s official spokesman. She later took home the TVC prize at Lamode Bangalore’s premier model competition. The directors of the movie “Kirik Party,” who saw her images in the contest, decided to cast her in the starring role.
In the 2016 Kannada movie “Kirik Party,” where she played the part of “Saanvi Joseph,” Rashmika made her acting debut. The movie was a huge hit and ended up being one of the highest-grossing films of the year. After that, she starred in “Anjani Putra” and “Chamak,” both of which received rave reviews.
