Ritu Varma, a native of India, was born on March 10, 1990 in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana. Her parents are Megha and Sangeetha Varma, and her siblings are also named Megha and Sangeetha. Having never been married, Ritu Varma is currently taking the single life. She is a Pisces and comes from a Hindu family.
Ritu Varma spent her formative years in India, specifically the city of Hyderabad. The year after she graduated high school, she competed in the Dabur Gulabari Miss Rose Glow pageant and ended up in second place.

As an actress, Varma first came to prominence in the Telugu short film Anukokunda. At the 2012 48HR Film Project competition, Varma took home the award for Best Actor (Female), and the film itself took home the award for Best Film. The film’s world premiere occurred in 2013 at the Cannes Short Film Corner.
Baadshah was her first film, and she played a supporting character named Pinky. Later, she agreed to play a costume designer opposite Sree Vishnu in the upcoming movie Prema Ishq Kaadhal. She then appeared in Naa Rakumarudu (2014) and Yevade Subramanyam, for which she received an IIFA Utsavam award nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category.
Her next Telugu film, the romantic comedy Pelli Choopulu, starred Vijay Deverakonda. The film was a financial success and was widely praised; among its many honors, it won the award for Best Feature Film in Telugu at the 64th National Film Awards and the Best Film – Telugu award from Filmfare.
