The famous actor and comedian Naresh Babu (born Naresh Vijaya Krishna) was born on a Sunday, January 20, 1963 (age 59 as of 2022) in Chennai, India. His horoscope sign is Capricorn. Naresh Babu is originally from Chennai, India, where he attended the Hindu High School, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, and the illustrious Ramakrishna Mission High School. Acting as a younger version of himself, Naresh co-starred with S. V. Ranga Rao, Ghattamaneni Krishna, Gummadi, Vijayanirmala, and B.Saroja Devi in the Telugu family drama Pandanti Kapuram (1972). In the role of director, Lakshmi Deepak helmed the film.

In 1991, he starred as the lead in the DD Telugu television series Munimanikyam Gari Kantham Kadhalu, for which he was later honoured. Having a movie star make a television appearance was unheard of at the time, but he did it anyway.

Naresh, then just a kid, made his acting debut in the film Pandanti Kapuram (1972). His first film was 1982’s Naalugu Stamabhalata, when he played a supporting role. Following this, he appeared in a number of Telugu films, including those as Gopi in 1983’s Rendu Jella Sita, Venkat Rao in 1985’s Sogasu Chuda Taramaa?, Gopalam in 1987’s Sri Kanakamalaxmi Recording Dance Troupe, Ramakrishna in 1989’s Hai Hai Nayaka, Siddhartha in 1990’s Kokila, and Nimmagadda Rajeswar

There are a few of Tamil films in which Naresh has appeared, including Nenjathai Allitha (1984), Porutham (1985), Malini 22 Palayamkottai (2013), and Sandamarutham (2015). In the 1991 Doordarshan show Munimanikyam Gari Kantham Kadhalu, Naresh portrayed the character of Venkata Rao. Then he went on to appear in a number of other shows, including Popula Petti (1996) on ETV as Srinivas, Amrutham Icchapurapu (2002) as Amrutha Rao on Gemini TV, Maa Nanna (2012) as Sivaiah on Gemini TV, Mahalakshmi Nivasam (2013) as Viswanatha Raju on Gemini TV, and Oka Chinna Family Story (2012) as Haridas on Zee5.

In 1996, Naresh Babu ran for office as a member of the Indian National Congress. Since 1998, he has been active in the BJP’s youth organisation. Over time, he worked his way up through the BJP ranks to vice president, state president, secretary, and general secretary in Andhra Pradesh. Naresh was the committee coordinator for Rayalaseema Adyayana. As a member of the BJP, he attempted to represent the Hindupur Lok Sabha constituency in the Anantapur area. In 2009, he officially resigned as a primary party member.
