Kalyani Malik Early Life

Siva Shakti Dutta and Bhanumathi gave birth to Kalyani Malik in Kovvur, where she grew up. His brother, the composer M. M. Keeravani, is related to the filmmakers S. S. Rajamouli, S. S. Kanchi, and M. M. Srilekha. Kalyan is very interested in the arts, especially music and film. He started helping his older brother, the musician M. M. Keeravani, when he was young because he was good at it. K. V. Vijayendra Prasad is his uncle, and he is a well-known Tollywood screenwriter.

Since he follows Mallikarjuna Swamy, he added “Malik” to the end of his name and is now known as “Kalyani Malik.” He also started using the name Kalyana Ramana in 2017.

Kalyani Malik Career

Kalyan’s career took off after he sang in a chorus for songs written by his cousin brother MM Keeravani in the Telugu movie Palletoori Pellam (199). The famous MM Keeravani told him what to do and how to make music. After the song “Sannajaji Puvva” from the 2002 Telugu movie Yuvaratna came out, Kalyan’s career as a playback singer took off.

Kalyan worked as a chorus singer and playback singer, but he also helped MM Keeravani with his composing. As time went on, he went out on his own as a music director for TV shows and commercial jingles. The music for the hit Telugu movie Aithe was Kalyan’s first big break as a film composer (2004).

After getting a lot of attention for the music in Aithe, Kalyan went on to write the music for many successful movies, such as Manasu Maata Vinadu (2004), Boss I Love You (2006), Ashta Chamma (2008), Ala Modalaindi (2010), Golconda High School (2011), Oohalu Gusagusalade (2014), Kalyana Vabhogame (2016), etc. He was also in charge of the sound for the film Baahubali: The Beginning, which was SS Rajamouli’s masterpiece (2015).
