The Kannada movie Dyavre from the following year featured her in yet another part. The film received largely favourable reviews from critics. She was given the opportunity to play a part in director Harsha’s movie Bhajarangi, which would have starred Shivraj Kumar, but she was unable to do so. She portrayed Srinagara Kitty’s love interest in Jacob Varghese’s 2014 road movie Savaari 2. She then appeared in Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s first Tamil film as a director, Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe. She began filming A. P. Arjun’s Rhaate shortly after the release of Lucia because she had already signed a contract for it. She portrayed a modest country girl in the movie. She was simultaneously working on two movies for her upcoming feature: the independent Tamil Nadu film Nila and the Kannada film Sipaayi by Rajath Mayee.

Film critic Karthik Kermanu responded, “There isn’t a finer actor than Sruthi,” when asked who might play a character that illuminates the sexual needs of single women in urban middle-class areas. Her eyes convey the weariness of everyday life. Keyur Seta of Cinestaan praised her performance as “simple, nuanced, and FLAWLESS.” She is now seen working on the film Aadya starring Chiranjeevi Sarja and Chaitanya KN.
