D Imman Biography

D Imman Education

D Imman earned his master’s degree at the University of Madras. He is suing his ex-wife, alleging that she applied for a new passport for their children while hiding the fact that he already has the children’s original passports. He submitted a petition to the Chennai High Court asking for the cancellation of the passport renewals. Manica and Zonal, two passport agents, have been told to show up in court on June 9 for the subsequent hearing.

D Imman Early Life

Imman’s early musical endeavours got off to a good start. At the tender age of fifteen, he started an apprenticeship as a keyboard player for Adithyan and Mahesh Mahadevan, launching his career in the music business. He began his career as a music director for TV programs. Although Kaadhale Swasam was technically his first film, it was never released in theatres for a number of reasons despite having a hugely successful audio release. His first movie, Thamizhan, was released in 2002.

Imman’s years of hard work paid off when the movie Mynaa received excellent reviews and the director Prabhu Solomon asked him to work on more movies, including the popular Kumki and Kayal. D. Imman has rapidly gained notoriety as a significant Tamil film composer.

D Imman Career

When Imman was 15 years old, he started his career as a film composer. Mahesh Mahadevan and Adithyan, two well-known composers, taught him how to play the piano. During this time, Kutty Padmini, a television series producer, took notice of his work and commissioned him to write the theme song and score the drama Krishnadasi, which debuted in 2000.

Following that, he was successful in scoring the TV series Kolangal, Police Diary, and Mandhira Vaasal, and he went on to find work in the TV industry. (Citation necessary) His first chance to work as a composer came with Kutty Padmini’s production of the love movie Kaadhale Swasam with Karthik and Meena. Producer Venkateswaran was so impressed with Imman’s CD that he hired him to compose the music for the movie Thamizhan (2002). The album was well appreciated, and one song that the composer specifically made for Vijay and Priyanka Chopra featured their vocals.

The success of several of his solo songs, especially “Azhagiya Asura” from his 2003 album Whistle, was a major factor in his popularity. His subsequent album was featured in the masala movie Giri (2004) starring Arjun, and the song “Dai Kaiyaa Vechukittu” became popular with both urban and rural listeners.
