Nandha Durairaj was born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, on September 9, 1977. The family of Nandha Durairaj has moved to Chennai in the Tamil Nadu region of India. His parents are a couple by the names of Durairaj and Rani. Karthik is the name of one of his siblings. He was also raised by the late politician M. Kannappan, who was his grandfather. Vidyaroopa is Nandha Durairaj’s wife, and the two were wed in 2015.

Nandha Durairaj was first observed by producer S. Thanu at a family event. He next enrolled in Chennai’s Film Institute where he studied acting for a year before graduating with a diploma. He was spotted by director D. Sabapathy’s “Punnagai poove” premiere host Ameer, who then chose him to play Suriya’s sidekick in “Mounam Pesiyadhe.”
He and Aadhi Pinisetty co-starred in Shankar’s highly successful movie “Eeram,” which was also directed by Shankar. He plays the same part in “Anandhapurathu Veedu,” which is directed by Naga and produced by Shankar. He co-starred with Jiiva in movies like Vellore Mavattam and Vandhan Vendran in the years that followed. Following the success of Mounam Pesiyade, he co-starred with actor Suriya in the blockbuster “Thaana sent Kootam” in 2018. The film was directed by Vignesh Shivan. The first Tamil web series “Kaushiki,” which was produced by Ekta Kapoor for Balaji Telefilms and was directed by Kaushik, featured Nandha Durairaj as well.
