Radhakrishnan Parthiban, also known as R. Parthiban, was born on Friday, November 15, 1957; his parents’ names are unknown. In 1990, Radhakrishnan Parthiban married Seetha; he has a brother named Babu. The couple gave birth to three children in total: two daughters, Abhinaya and Keerthana, and an adopted son, Raakhi.

R Parthiban started to appear in Tamil movies in 1981. The actor’s first motion picture was Ranuva Veeran. He appeared in Dhavani Kanavugal, a 1984 film that was commercially successful, playing a postman. He co-starred in the 1992 film Unnai Vaazhthi Paadugiren with South Indian actresses R. Parthiban, Suman Ranganathan, and Mohini. In 1999, he appeared in the comedy Tata Birla.
