Rajendran Early Life

Rajendran (born 1 June 1957) is a well-known Indian stunt double and actor who primarily appears in Tamil films under the names Motta Rajendran or Naan Kadavul Rajendran. He made his acting debut in the 2003 movie Pithamagan and has since worked as a stunt double in more than 500 South Indian movies. He has played a variety of villainous and, more recently, comedic supporting roles in Tamil movies since his evil turn in Naan Kadavul (2009). He claims to have acquired his baldness and raspy voice while handling toxic waste for a stunt he was filming. He also has a raspy voice.

Rajendran Career

Beginning with hundreds of south Indian films, the vast majority of which were in Tamil, Rajendran worked as a stunt double. He had a supporting role in the 2003 movie Pithamagan and made his acting debut in the movie Naan Kadavul as the villain. His portrayal of the “menacing and nasty” boss who tortures beggars received praise from one reviewer.

He claims that after his performance in Boss Engira Bhaskaran, he began to be typecast in comic roles with villains. In Thirudan Police (2014), critics praised his portrayal of a masked assassin, dubbing him “the ultimate show stealer” and claiming that “his already popular lady makeover clinches it big time.” His debut movie of 2015 was Darling, in which he played the ghost-hunting Ghost Gopal Varma.

Although he is “excellent for both evil and funny roles,” according to The Times of India, despite his “bald head,” “thin figure,” and “sandpapery voice,” his “screams and whistles” suggest that he has achieved much greater success as a comedian. He played a murderer in Ivanuku Thannila Gandam (2015), the second movie he was in that year. Rajendran’s appearance in the film’s promotional films received positive feedback from the public. When the film debuted, the critics weren’t kind, but they did give Rajendran some credit for carrying the movie with his trademark dialogue delivery.
