Nalan Kumarasamy studied mechanical engineering at Sastra University (Thanjavur), Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), Campion High School (Tiruchirappalli), and Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), all in Chennai.
