Information about Sundar C’s education is unavailable as Sundar C, a former Manivannan assistant, made his directorial debut with the movie Murai Maman. Sundar claimed that he first approached Sarathkumar, a well-known action star, to play the lead role in his movie, but the director was unable to secure the actor’s services. The film’s protagonist was then chosen as Jayaram, and the director revealed that he drew on Jayaram’s “innate sense of humor.”
Sundar C Early Life
On January 21st, 1968, Sundar C. was born in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. He belongs to the Pillai ethnicity. He started out in the business as an AD for actor-turned-director Manivannan. He made his debut as a director in 1996 with the Tamil movie Murai Maman. Arunachalam, Ullathai Allitha, and Anbe Sivam are just a few of the humorous feature films he went on to direct.
Sundar C Career
His debut in a major part was in the highly praised 2006 movie Thalainagaram. After that, he appeared in the critically acclaimed movies Sandai by Sakthi Chidambaram and Veerappu by Badri. Later, he went back to directing alongside Nagaram Marupakkam. His most well-known works include Kalakalappu (2012), Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru (2013), Aranmanai (2014), and Kalakalappu 2 (2016).
He took a brief hiatus from filmmaking after making his acting debut in Thalai Nagaram (2006), a box office dud. With his trademark humorous roller coaster, the director had a minor amount of success with Kalakalappu (2012), his return to directing. The Aranamanai movies represented the next phase of his illustrious career as a director (2014).
The Sun TV series Nandini was co-produced by him and his wife, the actress Kushboo. He was the first to create a TV show in four languages at the same time (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada). The programme has quickly risen to prominence as India’s most viewed TV programme and a critical and financial success. Dear Naan Just a few of the movies he produced include Meesaya Murukku, Pei Pesuren, and Muthina Kathirika. Sundar C is one of the select few directors to have worked with two of Tamil cinema’s biggest stars: Rajinikanth (in Arunachalam, 1997), and Kamal Haasan (in Anbe Sivam, 2003).
He and Kushboo, an actress and producer, are the parents of two kids. Avanthika and Ananditha, two young women, are raised by the couple. A group of spouses who are all partners in the company run Avni Cinemax.
