Rajiv Menon Early Life

Rajiv Menon has been a resident of Chennai, Tamilnadu, India since April 20th, 1963. Rajiv Menon’s family has recently relocated to Chennai, an Indian city located in the Tamil Nadu state. His mother, Kalyani Menon, performs playback vocals in Malayalam and Tamil movies; his father’s identity will be made public later. He was only 17 years old when he began filming his first full-length feature, the Telugu movie Chaitanya, which was directed by Prathap K. Pothan.

Rajiv Menon, an advertising director with a base in Chennai, is wed to Latha Menon, also an advertising director. The two daughters of the couple are Saraswathi and Lakshmi. Menon says that his friendship with composer A. R. Rahman and director Mani Ratnam, two of his closest friends, has motivated him to be successful in his own career.

With Mani Ratnam’s Bombay, Rajiv Menon received a significant break. With the 1997 movie Minsara Kanavu, starring Prabhu Deva, Arvind Swamy, and Kajol, he made his directorial debut. He started his career as a photographer in the advertising sector because he has always had a passion for commercial production. He later went on to direct several popular TV advertisements. In the Indian advertising industry, he is also a well-known figure.

The writing team of Rajiv Menon and A R Rahman is responsible for many well-known jingles, including those for Airtel, Colgate, Palmolive, Titan, Asian Paints, Raymonds, and Coca-Cola. Accord to Economic Times Mumbai, his production company was ranked third in India in 2006. He moved on to work for advertising powerhouses like Ogilvy & Mather, Lintas, Rediffusion, Hindustan Thompson Associates, Zero Degree Design Studio, Rubecon, and Situations Advertising after the movie reached number two a year later. He made the star-studded Kandukondain Kandukondain as a follow-up to his debut movie. He not only directed the movie but also wrote the script and the story. He established Mindscreen Film Institute, a business that produces and distributes filmmaking equipment for use in commercials, independent features, and theaters, in addition to Rajiv Menon Productions. India’s Guru was Maniratnam’s most recent production. He had brief appearances in both his own film Minsara Kanavu and the Malayalam movie Harikrishnans.

A spectacular audio-visual treat about seven outstanding carnatic musicians is one of his most recent endeavours. This documentary was produced to mark the publication of the coffee table book “Voices Within” by contemporary musicians T.M. Krishna and Bombay Jayashree.
