Ajay Gogavale Early Life

Shirur, a town close to Pune, served as Ajay’s place of education. Due to his father’s government job, he spent his boyhood living in various cities. When they started imitating street bands as kids, they became enamoured with music for the first time.

Both Ajay and Atul completed their undergraduate degrees before relocating to Mumbai, where they started creating jingles and recording music for unreleased albums and television programmes. At the time, they contributed to the musical score for the Tushar Kapoor-starring movie Gayab.
One of their first awards was to the Kedar Shinde-directed Natak film “Sahi re Sahi.” The 2004 film Aga Bai Arecha, which had great songs like Malhar Wari, Mann Udhan Varyache, and many others, was one of their most successful projects. These songs continue to be the most popular among the general public.
Later in 2008, Ajay-Atul wrote Kombdi Palali, one of their most well-known Marathi songs, for the movie Jatra. A slightly modified version of this song was featured in the Hindi film Agneepath, which stars Hrithik Roshan. Although Ajay and Atul have both performed with notable success, it is startling to learn that none of them has received formal instruction in classical music.
They have contributed music to nearly 25 films, 15 or more serials, single albums, and several nataks during the course of their successful career. Their success in Marathi opened doors for them in Bollywood, where they made substantial contributions to movies like Singham, PK, and Brothers. Sairat, Ajay Atul’s 2016 movie, was a box office and critical triumph. The movie, which starred Aakash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru, made over 100 crores in revenue thanks to the songs, all of which were enormous successes.
