Annu Kapoor Education
He had to stop going to school after finishing the 10th grade due to his family’s financial struggles. Soon after, Annu started working odd jobs at places like a tea stall, a fake currency store, a firework store, and a lottery ticket booth. Later, his father insisted that he join the theatre company he directed. After working for his father’s theatre company for a while, Annu Kapoor decided to enrol at Delhi’s National School of Drama (NSD) in the footsteps of his older brother Ranjit.

He was born in Itwara, Bhopal, on Monday, February 20, 1956 (Annu Kapoor would be 66 years old in 2022). He is a Pisces, one of the signs of the zodiac. Annu has always desired a career in public service or medicine. On his mother’s side, Annu Kapoor is a Bengali Brahmin, and on his father’s side, he is a Punjabi. The Father of Annu, Madanlal Kapoor, had a traveling Parsi theatre company. His mother, Kamal Shabnam Kapoor, sang classically and taught Urdu.

Annu participated in a variety of plays as a member of his father’s Parsi theatre group, including “Laila Majnu,” “Harischandra,” “Shirin-Farhad,” “Bhakta Prahlad,” “Dahi Wali,” and “Qatl-e-Tamizan.” A few recent works in which he has appeared are Antim Yatra, Three Sisters, The Great God Brown, The Zoo Story, and Ek Ruka Hua Faisla. Anu has directed a few plays in addition to appearing in theatre shows. Annu made her screen debut in the Doordarshan television programme “Khari-Khari” in the 1980s. His first appearances on programmes like “Darpan,” “Phatichar,” “Param Vir Chakra,” “Wheel Smart Shrimati,” “Ek Se Badkar Ek,” and “Golden Era With Annu Kapoor” came soon after.
After her reality programme, Close Up Antakshari, became a success on television, Annu gained notoriety.
