He enrolled in the “CA Institute” after finishing his secondary education at the Government Senior Secondary School in Mumbai, but he decided against pursuing an accounting career. A “CS (Company Secretaryship) course” was then started by him, but he left it after six months. He also submitted an application to attend the “University of Texas” in Austin, Texas, but he decided not to enroll at the last minute.

Siddharth is the grandson of Shahenshah screenwriter Inder Raj Anand and the son of producer Bittu Anand. Inder Raj Anand wrote several films, including the well-known Shahenshah. After “Shahenshah,” his father and Rishi Kapoor, a childhood friend and fellow actor, made two more films, but neither of them was a commercial success. As a result of the losses he endured, his father left the entertainment industry and started his own clothing business. Tinnu Anand, a well-known Bollywood actor, is his uncle.

In the 2001 film “Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi,” Siddharth made his acting debut as Rahul Rawail’s assistant. I With the 2005 film “Salaam Namaste,” starring Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta, he made his directorial debut. In that film, he also played a supporting role.
The scripts for various films, including “Hum Tum,” “Salaam Namaste,” “Anjaana Anjaani,” etc., were co-written by him. He also worked as the executive producer of the film “Hum Tum.” He completed three films for Yash Raj Films in accordance with the conditions of his contract, including “Salaam Namaste” (2005), “Ta Ra Rum Pum” (2007), and “Bachna Ae Haseeno.” He has a fantastic relationship with the music composer “Vishal-Shekhar” because they worked together on four of his films and their albums were all commercial successes.
After the huge success of his Hrithik Roshan-starring picture “War,” Siddharth Anand rose to fame as a filmmaker. His next film, “Pathaan,” is due to be released, and he will work with Roshan again on “Fighter,” which will be the first aerial action movie to be produced in India.
