Karan Malhotra Career
Karan started working as a cinematographer at the start of the 1990s. In 2000, while working as an assistant on the Hindi film Pukar, he made his directing debut. On the Hindi films “Lajja” (2001), “Main Hoon Na” (2004), “Jodha Akbar” (2008), and “My Name Is Khan,” he also served as an assistant director. He made his directorial and screenwriting debuts with the 2012 Hindi film “Agneepath,” for which he won the Zee Cine Award for Special Award Power-Club Box Office. He has directed many Hindi films, including “Shamshera” and “Brothers” (2015).
In 2016, he started making the Hindi film Shuddhi. The movie was based on the Amish Tripathi book “The Immortals of Meluha.” The movie’s producers faced a number of challenges when deciding on the cast. Later, the film was shelved.
