Kalki Koechlin Education
She studied theatre and drama at Goldsmiths, University of London after leaving Hebron School in Ooty. She was very shy and lacked self-assurance as a young girl. Her life’s job was to study psychology in order to work with criminals. She started working for a theatre company named Theatre of Relativity while still a student at Goldsmiths, University of London. She appeared in several plays, including The Blue Room and The Dispute. When Kalki was in London, she worked as a waitress on the weekends.

The actress was raised as the child of Françoise Armandie and Joel Koechlin. Her sibling’s name is Oriel Koechlin. Maurice Koechlin, the chief engineer of both the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower, is their common grandparent. In April 2011, a small ceremony in Ooty, India, saw Kalki wed Anurag Kashyap. However, the couple parted ways in 2015.

Kalki’s debut in the entertainment sector was as Chanda in the drama “Dev.D.” (2009). For her work in the movie, she was given the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her success led to the movies “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani” (2013) and “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” (2011). After that, she appeared in movies like the political drama “Shanghai” and the supernatural thriller “Ek Thi Daayan.”
