For his formal education, he attended the Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai. Rahul applied to over 18 different colleges in the US after graduating from high school, but he was denied admission to each of them. He then decided to enroll at Mumbai’s Sydenham College with the intention of finishing his education there.

Rahul Bose made his professional acting debut in 1989 with the staging of “Topsy Turvey.” The plays “Are There Tigers in the Congo?,” “Art,” “The Square Circle,” and “Seascape with Sharks and Dancer” were among the ones that came after. He made his acting debut in the 1994 Hinglish movie English, August as the part of “Agastya Sen.” Then he was chosen to play “Sarkar/Pavan” in the television series “A Mouthful of Sky.”
