He attended St. Xavier’s College in neighboring Ahmedabad to study chemistry after receiving his diploma from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jaipur.
Rajeev Khandelwal Early Life
Rajeev Khandelwal was born on October 16, 1975, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India (he is now 43 years old). Khandelwal took part in a theatre production when he was in the third grade. This fuelled his interest for performing.
Rajeev tried out for Punjab Doordarshan in his ninth grade year and was subsequently hired. He was unable to participate in the show because of the three-month outdoor shoot and his father’s opposition.
Rajeev is a member of the Marwari Khandelwal family. His parents are Vijayalaxmi Khandelwal and retired colonel C.L. Khandelwal. He is the second of two brothers; Rahul is his older brother and Sanjeev is his younger brother. Rajeev rejects all notions of gods and a supreme being.
Rajeev adopted Swati, a daughter, from the Muskaan orphanage in 2007. On February 7, 2011, Khandelwal married his longtime love, Manjiri Kamtikar. It was an Arya Samaj ritual.

Rajeev made his television debut in an episode of DD National’s Banphool from 1998. He played a bad character on the television programme Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat in 2002.
In 2003, Rajeev auditioned for the Ekta Kapoor-produced and -hosted programme Kahiin To Hoga. He was chosen to play Sujal Garewal after four days of auditions. He has never before played the lead role. Later, he made an appearance as a RAW field officer in “Time Bomb 9/11.” The actor has also appeared in the 2006 films “Left Right Left” and “Sun Leyna” (2007).
2008’s Aamir was his debut film for the Bollywood industry. This movie was a turning point in his professional life. He also had cameos in movies including Shaitan (2011), Soundtrack (2011), Table No. 21 (2013), and Samrat & Co. (2015).
In addition to his acting career, Rajeev has hosted a number of reality shows, including Deal Ya No Deal, Super Cars, Sacch Ka Saamna, and My Endeavour. In 2015, Rajeev made a comeback on television with the episode of Reporters on Sony.
