Although Dolly Bose Roy and Brothindranath Roy’s son Ronit Bose Roy was born in Nagpur on October 11, 1965, he spent the majority of his early years in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Roy’s early sponsor and seasoned director Subhash Ghai encouraged him to start his career as a management trainee at Mumbai’s Sea Rock Hotel. The 1990s saw Roy appear in a number of movies, although he never found significant economic success.
Neelam Singh, a former model who is now an actor, and Roy wed in 2003; as a result, they had two children: Aador, now eleven, and Agasthya Bose Roy (9). Roy also has a more mature daughter named Ona from his first marriage to Joanna. He is Rohit Roy’s older sibling, a well-known TV actor.

Despite the fact that his acting debut, the love romance Jaan Tere Naam (1992), was a commercial success, his early career was hampered by a string of duds. After starring in successful shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Adaalat, Roy rose to prominence and achieved financial stability in the small screen industry.
Ronit has appeared on a lot of nonfiction/reality TV shows as a contestant, judge, or host.
