Jim completed his formal education at the American School of Bombay in Mumbai, India, and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States.

Jim Sarbh Early Life

On August 27, 1987, in the Indian city of Mumbai, Jim Sarbh was born. He received a lot of praise from viewers for his work in the 2016 film Neerja, which he co-starred in alongside Sonam Kapoor.

He is from a well-to-do middle-class Parsi family. His father was a Master Mariner before taking the position of Regional Director for P&O Ports in South and Middle East Asia. His mother is an occupational therapist.

His romance with actress Kalki Koechlin ended after two years.

After graduating from college, he began working as a literary intern at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre, where he appeared in a number of productions, including Ice Glen, The Breakup, The Show!, and Tennis in Nablus, for which he was nominated for a Major Supporting Role Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre Award. In 2012, he moved back to Mumbai and started working in the theatre business right away. Death of a Salesman, Ok Tata Bye Bye, Gates to India Song, Limbo, Cock, The Glass Menagerie, Noises Off, Eat!, Bull, and numerous other plays are just a few of the many plays he has worked on.

In 2016, he made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Ajeeb Aashiq. The movie was shown on February 2 at the Rotterdam International Film Festival. These three movies were all released in the same year, along with Neerja, Yashodhara, and 3 1/2 Takes.
