Nazriya Nazim Education
She attended Our Own English High School in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, as well as Christ Nagar School in Thiruvananthapuram and Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Trivandrum. She reportedly had to drop out of Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram in 2013 due to her hectic filming schedule.

Nazriya is the name of the daughter that Nazimuddeen and Begum Beena had. Her brother is Naveen Nazim, her sibling. Her family was from the United Arab Emirates and lived in Al Ain before relocating to Thiruvananthapuram.
In January 2014, Malayalam movie star Fahadh Faasil made public his engagement to Nazriya. The two actors became close to one another while working together on the set of Anjali Menon’s Bangalore Days (2014), in which they played husband and wife. The planning of the wedding was greatly assisted by the parents of both Fahadh and Nazriya. They got married on August 21 in Thiruvananthapuram after being engaged in February of that year.

Nazriya started her career in 2005 as an anchor on the Muslim-focused television quiz show Punyamaasathiloode on Kairali TV.
When she was chosen to play Mammootty’s daughter in the Blessy-directed Malayalam film Palunku (2006), she officially began her acting career. She later started hosting Munch Star Singer, a popular Asianet music competition programme. Her subsequent film appearance was in the Mohanlal-starring movie Oru Naal Varum as Dhanya, Sreenivasan’s daughter (2010). She and Nivin Pauly were featured on Sony Music Entertainment’s smash hit album Yuvvh, which was a great hit with the younger generation.
Nazriya was fortunate to land her first lead role when the Malayalam movie Maad Dad came out (2013). She reconnected with Nivin Pauly and Alphonse Putharen from Yuvvh in the romantic comedy-thriller Neram, which was filmed in both Tamil and Malayalam. The main couple of the successful movie garnered rave reviews and wide-spread recognition. The scene where Nivin asks Nazriya to marry him is revered by moviegoers around. She was nominated for and won the Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress for her work in Neram. She then took up the role of Keerthana, an IT expert, in Raja Rani. Her first acting role was in the flop Salalah Mobiles (2014), despite having an all-star cast that included Dulquer Salmaan. Her portrayal of a Tamil Iyengar girl in the movie Thirumanam Enum Nikkah has been completed. Later, she co-starred with Nivin Pauly in the Malayalam film Ohm Shanthi Oshaana. After Bangalore Days and Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram, she acted in the Tamil films Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum as well as the Malayalam films Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum. Nazriya was chosen to play the lead role in Nee Nalla Varuvada in October 2013. To replace Nazriya, however, Kajal Aggarwal was hired in March 2014. She was named best actress at the 45th Annual Kerala State Film Awards.
Following her marriage to Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya took a break from acting. She made a comeback with the Koode movie, starring Prithviraj and Anjali Menon. After a year-long break, the couple made their acting debut in the 2020 movie Trance, which also included her spouse in a supporting part. Her debut Telugu-language film, Ante Sundaraniki, with Nani, was released that year (2022).
