On April 12, 1978, in the city of Edappally in the Indian state of Kerala, Aashiq Abu was born. The Abu family of Aashiq presently resides in Kerala’s Kochi. He is the son of Jameela Abu and C. M. Abu. Asiq Abu wed Rima Kallingal on November 1, 2013, making her his wife. Rima is an actress who appears in Mollywood films and television programmes. He started out in the business as an assistant to renowned Mollywood filmmaker Kamal.

Aashiq Abu Career

He made his filmmaking debut in 2009 with the Malayalam film “Daddy Cool,” which starred Mammootty and Richa Pallod. Prakash Raj’s second movie, “Salt N’ Pepper,” was given the permission to be remade in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. His 2012 movie, “22 Female Kottayam,” was released. He went on to direct the movies Da Thadiya, Gangster, and Rani Padmini. He directed advertisements for Joyalukkas, Mathrubhumi, Panasonic, Lulu Group, Dubai Gold, and other companies. In 2012, he founded the production company OPM Cinemas. He has two movies under his production company’s name: “Gangster” and “Maheshinte Prathikaaram.”
