Deepak Dev Early Life
Although Deepak Dev was raised in Dubai, he was actually born in Tellicherry, Kerala. He started learning Indian Carnatic music at the Indian High School when he was a little child. He gradually shifted his attention to the piano. He organized the graduating rock group at Sacred Heart University, which went on to take home the institution’s annual “Talent Time – Woodstock” prize. He focused on music production and soon began working with A.R. Rahman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Sandeep Chowta, Vidyasagar, Anu Malik, M.M. Keeravani, Mani Sharma, and Adesh Shrivastav, among other well-known musicians.
Deepak is the name of the son of Tellichery natives Devraj Komath and Asha Dev, who now reside in Dubai. His younger sibling, Dixit Dev, is his brother. Deepak married Smitha Girijan on May 26, 2002, and they were wed. They currently reside in Ernakulam with their two children, Pallavi (born in 2005) and Devika (born in 2003). (born 2006).
Deepak Dev Career
Siddique made his Malayalam film debut with Chronic Bachelor, which he also directed.
Following his graduation from Sacred Heart’s College, Cochin, he stated in an interview that “nothing exciting was occurring in my profession,” alluding to his lack of advancement in the music business. He made several attempts to sell it, but each time the buyer was unable to pay the full price, so he was forced to take the keyboard back. The Siddique-Lal duo then called me shortly after the third occurrence to invite me to perform with them in America. They asked me to render some music so that nothing would be forgotten during the time in between shows.
I would have chosen a career other than music if I had the chance to work in the US in the past. At the time, Mr. Siddique saw me perform and encouraged me to pursue music as a career. He said, “You have good talent in music; you must accept music as your career.” Hearing those remarks ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in music. I eventually went back to India in 1999, but this time I made Chennai my new home instead of Kerala. After that, I met Siddique a few years later, and he asked me to write the score for his movie Chronic Bachelor, which also happened to be my first movie.
