Sushin Shyam Education

He completed his education in Thalassery, a seaside town in North Kerala, at St. School Joseph’s and Mambaram Higher Secondary School. Later, he enrolled at Sri Sidhartha Institute of Technology to pursue an engineering degree but left early to concentrate on music.

His father, who is a pianist, enrolled him in music instruction when he was a little child. Sushin participated in youth festivals while he was in school and won numerous accolades at the state level. Later, he enrolled at Sri Sidhartha Institute of Technology to pursue an engineering degree but left early to concentrate on music. He relocated in order to pursue a career in Tamil cinema. Sushin worked with Deepak Dev for nearly two years, learning from and mentoring him.

Sushin Shyam Career

Under Deepak Dev’s guidance, Sushin started his filmmaking career at the age of 19. Over the course of four years, he programmed the soundtracks for over 45 Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu movies. He co-wrote the music for the 2012 short film “Oru kutti chodyam” with Ganesh Raj (Aanandam’s director).

Rex Vijayan, the lead guitarist for Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, requested Sushin to programme the background music for the movie in 2013. Vijayan directed the movie. Another song he performed for the movie was Thaazhvaram. Sushin’s career took off after he met Rex, who motivated him to compose the music for “Sapthamashree Thaskaraha,” a 2014 movie directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon. This would be his first time working on an album under his own direction as a composer.

His second song from a movie soundtrack was “Kayi Ethum Doorathonde.” Soon after, in 2015, he composed the score for Anil Radhakrishnan Menon’s Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi. His second undertaking, “Kismath,” was for Shanavas, a novice director. The song “Kisa Pathiyil” and the score were adored by the audience. The following viral masterpiece from Sushin was “Vicky” by Manu Joseph. Most recently, “Ezra,” a horror mystery movie, was directed by Jay.K. He also composed the film’s score and two songs. The soundtracks for “Thambiraan” and “Irulu Neelum Raave” were both strangely effective. He made brief appearances in Grandmaster, Thattathin Marayathu, Da Thadiya, Honey Bee, and Guppy.
