Sharan Early Life
Sharan hails from a distinguished family of performers. His grandpa and parents were both well-known Gubbi theatre players. His younger sister Shruti is a popular performer. Usha is a younger sister that lives in his home. Prior to pursuing acting, his parents supported him in pursuing a successful career as a vocalist in an orchestra.
He produced albums of his own worship as well as show themes. A series on the Doordarshan network served as the launchpad for Sharan’s acting career. After spotting him on a television serial, the film’s director, Siddlingaiah, took notice and offered him a little comedy role.
Sharan Career
A supporting part in Siddalingaiah’s Prema Prema Prema marked Sharan’s acting debut (1996). He has since made over a hundred film appearances, most often in supporting or humorous roles. His comedic prowess first surfaced in movies like Friends (2002), Monalisa (2004), Jothe Jotheyali (2006), Pallakki (2007), and Maleyali Jotheyali (2009), among many more.
Both Victory (2013) and Rambo (2012) were box office and critical successes for Sharan, and both received high appreciation for his performances. In Maanikya, his debut movie of 2014, Sharan played a supporting role. In the comedy Jai Lalitha, he took on the roles of both a man (Jayaraj) and a woman (Lalitha). G. Despite praise from critic S., the movie only did ok at the box office.
For her “excellent mannerisms, line delivery, and body language” in the lead female character, Kumar of The Times of India lauded Sharan. His final release of the year was the romantic comedy Adyaksha, an adaptation of the 2013 Tamil film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.
He took on the character of Chandrashekhara Gowda, a villager who stirs up trouble as the head of the “Chi Thu Sangha” organisation (also known as the “Chinthe Illada Thund Haikla Sangha”) before falling in love with the tenant’s daughter. Sharan’s performance received high accolades from critics, and the movie was a box office and critical triumph.
It became one of the biggest hits in Kannada film this year. Because to his portrayal, he received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Actor. Sharan portrayed Bottle Mani, a man who promises to kill an old member of the royal family in exchange for money, in the 2015 movie Raja Rajendra. Although the movie received negative reviews, his performance was singled out for praise.
He portrays Muthu, the antithesis of Basavaraj “Basya,” the villager who rides a Royal Enfield Bullet and has a thing for women, in the comedy Bullet Basya. He sang “Kaal Kg Kallekaai,” the movie’s theme song. The flick received mainly negative reviews from critics. Bangalore Mirror described Sharan’s performance as “almost going overboard in his pursuit of comedy, but eventually doing justice to both characters.”
