Haripriya Early Life
Hariprriya was born in Chikkaballapur, India, on October 29, 1991. After completing her official studies, she joined right away in a Bharatanatyam dance academy. She attended a prep high school in Bangalore, where the family eventually made their home.
For numerological reasons, Shruthi’s mother proposed her change her name from Haripriya to Harriprriya in 2013, but she resisted. “My mother asked that I modify the spelling,” she said, elaborating on her choice.
Before relocating to Bangalore with her family to complete her pre-university studies, Haripriya was raised in Chikkaballapur, where she also completed high school and received training in Bharatanatyam.
Haripriya Career
Haripriya has already participated in a number of shows. She was cast as the lead female in the Tulu movie Badi by director Richard Castelino after seeing her in programme stills while she was a senior in high school. Her debut Kannada film appearance was in Manasugula Mathu Madhura (2008), and she subsequently made an appearance in Vasanthakala. She was nominated for Best Kannada Actress at the 2009 Filmfare Awards for her work in the political satire Kallara Santhe.
Her subsequent film, Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu, received positive reviews and helped establish Haripriya as a household figure in Karnataka. She made her film debuts in Telugu and Tamil in 2010, both with the somewhat successful Thakita Thakita and Kanagavel Kaaka, both directed by Bhumika Chawla. Following that, she focused on Tamil and Telugu movies like Cheran’s Muran and Pilla Zamindar.
She returned to Kannada film for the 2014 gangster movie Ugramm. Haripriya performed “a strong performance,” according to The New Indian Express, and she is “natural in her act.” She made a “sensational comeback to Kannada films,” according to reviewers, and the movie was a financial success.
According to Sify, Ugramm “did miracles to Haripriya.” More Kannada films were subsequently offered to the actress. After Ugram’s commercial success, she grew to be one of the most in-demand actresses in the Kannada film industry, and she went on to star in movies like Ranna, Ricky, and the comedy Bullet Basya.
After the box office success of the movie Neer Dose, she rose to become one of the most well-known heroines in Kannada cinema. She portrayed North Karnataka native Haasini opposite Dhruva Sarja in Bharjari, which was her only film outing in 2017.
