Srinidhi Shetty Early Life

On October 21, 1992, in the Indian city of Mangalore, Karnataka, Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty was born. She received her formal education in Mangalore at St. Aloysius Pre-University College and Sri Narayana Guru English Medium School. She also obtained her B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangalore’s Jain University. Srinidhi excelled academically as well as participating frequently in college fashion shows.

Ramesh Shetty and the late Kushala Shetty were the parents of Srinidhi, who was born in Karnataka to devoted Hindus. Her mother passed away from illness when she was in the tenth grade. Her sisters are Priyanka Shetty and Amrita Shetty. The youngest of the three girls is Srinidhi.

Srinidhi Shetty Career

When Srinidhi was a student, she frequently participated in campus fashion displays as an NCC cadet. Srinidhi left her position at Accenture and competed in a number of beauty pageants. Her father supported her decision to pursue a modelling career.

In the 2012 Clean & Clear Fresh Face competition, she was vying for one of the top five slots. Srinidhi thus took home the 2015 Mannapuram Miss South India, Miss Karnataka, and Miss Beautiful Smile crowns. She competed for Mannapuram Miss Queen and finished in second place.

At the Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Supranational pageant on December 2 in Poland, Srinidhi was crowned “Miss Supranational” and “Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania” for the same year.

In the 2018 Kannada action drama K.G.F: Chapter 1, opposite Yash, Shetty makes her acting debut. The project was overseen by Prashanth Neel. She infused life into the persona of the independent young woman Reena Desai. For their performances, each actor garnered excellent reviews. At the box office, the film brought in over 250 crore.

In the film’s follow-up, K.G.F: Chapter 2, she reprised her role as Reena. Although the movie as a whole was highly received, Shetty’s divisive role earned nothing but positive reviews. The movie made between $1.20 and $1.25 billion globally, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2022 and the third-highest-grossing Indian film of all time, despite India Today calling the segment “extremely unsatisfactory and troublesome.”

That same year, she made her Tamil film debut in the action movie Cobra, which also starred Vikram and her. The movie was a financial failure, grossing only 40 crore. According to India Today, Bhavana Menon, a professor of criminology, was “insignificantly” portrayed by Shetty.
