He attended Seshadripuram College for his college studies after finishing high school at Bangalore’s Baldwin Boys School. He sought an MBA after earning his bachelor’s in business management, which he ultimately dropped. He went around six or seven years without working or studying anything. A media outlet claims that Prashanth was 17 years old when he decided he wanted to work in the film industry. He afterwards completed a professional filmmaking course.

On Wednesday, June 4, 1980, in Hassan, Karnataka, Prashanth Neel was born. His father goes by the name of Subhash Neelakantapuram. His mother is known to them as Bharati Subhash. He is the youngest brother of two. His siblings’ names are Pradeep and Rekha Neelakantapuram.
Prashanth Neel Career
Following the completion of his film studies, Prashanth penned the script for the movie Aa Hudugi Neene. Originally intending to cast his actor brother-in-law Srimurali, he ultimately chose to write the action picture Ugramm. It was released by his own production firm, Infinite Pictures, and was one of the most commercially successful Kannada movies of 2014.
After telling a narrative to the producer Vijay Kiragandur, Prashanth was asked whether he had any more unfinished concepts. When he inquired and Prashanth responded by telling him the K.G.F. Chapter 1 story, everything fell into place. Following its release in 2018, the movie brought in Rs. 250 crores at the box office. The film’s distributor, Anil Thadani, opted to give Baahubali a wide release in Hindi, and it too enjoyed great success there.
His third film, “KGF: Chapter 2,” was originally scheduled to be released on July 16, 2022, but that date was postponed due to the COVID – 19 epidemic’s second wave in India. The movie will premiere on April 14, 2022, in five different languages.
