Allu Sirish has returned with an action comedy drama called Buddy after a hiatus. In an effort to further promote the movie, he went so far as to announce that single-screen tickets would cost $99 and multiplex tickets would cost $125. The crowd is paying attention to that.
Aditya Ram (Allu Sirish), an air traffic controller, and Pallavi (Gayatri Bharadwaj) fall in love with the narrative. When she is abducted, the situation changes. The film revolves around his rescue of her with the aid of a teddy bear.
Buddy has an original plot, yet he doesn’t care for cliched actions. A handful of the action scenes are expertly written, and Allu Sirish does good acting. Apart from that, nothing compels us to watch the movie.
In numerous instances, the movie falls short of creating tension, and Ali’s comedic segment has turned into a major plot hole.
Gayatri Bharadwaj is also good in certain scenes, while Allu Sirish gave a respectable effort overall. The way Ajmal Ameer performs is highly contrived. Mukesh Rishi, Ali, and other people are only ok.
Buddy appears to be technically sound. The background music and songs of Hiphop Tamizha are acceptable, yet Krishnan Vasant’s cinematography is merely mediocre. San Anton had a brilliant idea, but he couldn’t make it seem interesting on film. Buddy is a one-time watch overall.
