Movie Verdict
From the time of the elder NTR to Bahubali, Telugu fans have seen a lot of social fantasy movies. Unlike most other time travel movies, Bimbisara’s story takes place in a parallel universe that has nothing to do with the past or the future. This makes Bimbisara different from other movies about traveling through time.
The first half of the movie is mostly about how Kalyan Ram plays Bimbisara. It also has a few action scenes and ends with a big explosion. The second half of the movie moves to Hyderabad, which is slow at first but quickly grabs the audience’s attention when a man from the present meets the Bimbisara spirit.
Bimbisara’s story doesn’t have a very unique plot, but the dark undertones and interesting idea of the main character will keep you interested until the end. But there are some problems with the movie, like a love story that doesn’t work, a few songs that don’t make sense, and some logical holes.
It’s hard to pick a favorite character from Kalyan Ram’s two roles because he does such a good job of getting into character and saying his lines. Even though all of the actors in Bimbisara are good, Prakash Raj’s performance as Vishwanandan Varma stands out.
The director, Vassishta, should be praised for keeping people interested in this complicated story. But he could have done a better job if he had spent more time and effort making a young character who is the movie’s emotional center.
Anyone who knows how to look will be amazed by the view from Bimbisara. Even though Chota K. Naidu’s cinematography had some great parts, most of the movie’s shots were too bright and had a heavy color tone, and M.M. Keeravani’s songs didn’t live up to expectations. The rest of the departments did a great job, and Keeravani’s background score showed how talented he is.
The movie Bimbisara is entertaining for a wide range of people because it combines social realism and fantasy.
