Sonakshi Sinha Upcoming Movies: Sonakshi Sinha got her start in Hindi movies because her father, Shatrughan Sinha, was a veteran actor. Her first movie was with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. She received continuous offers after her debut, but the actress has been seen very less on-screen these days. The last thing she put out was “Bhuj: The Pride of India,” which came out in 2022 and was a financial failure.
Sonakshi had a breakout year in 2012, starring in four films after her breakthrough performance in 2010’s Dabangg. Starring opposite Bollywood’s “Khiladi,” Akshay Kumar, in Prabhudeva’s “Rowdy Rathore” was her first film of the year. Even though it got average reviews when it first came out, the movie did well at the box office and made INR 15.6 crores on its first day. The next movie she made with Shirish Kunder, Joker, didn’t do well at the box office or with critics. She then appeared in Son of Sardar, directed by Ashwin Dhir and starring Ajay Devgn; the film was panned by critics but was commercially successful. Dabangg 2, directed by Arbaaz Khan, was released to mixed reviews but was a commercial triumph, marking a successful close to the actress’s busy year.
Sonakshi’s successful 2013 got off to a great start when she was cast in Lootera opposite Ranveer Singh. Even though the movie didn’t do well at the box office, Sonakshi got a lot of praise for playing Pakhi, a young girl with tuberculosis. The year’s other films she was in, directed by Milan Luthria, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Prabhudeva, and starring Shahid Kapoor, were all met with negative to mediocre reviews.

Sonakshi Sinha who was last seen in the 2022 direct OTT-released movie ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ might have two releases by the end of this year. She recently announced that she was working on another project called “Nikita Roy and the Book of Darkness,” which will come out in 2022 and be her brother Kussh Sinha’s first film as a director.
