Asif Ali Upcoming Movies: Asif Ali has worked on a record 13 films in a single year. He has four films coming out this year: “Innale Vare,” “Kuttavum Shikshayum,” “Mahaveeryar,” and “Kotthu.” The film Mahaveeryar, starring Nivin Pauly, was well received by both audiences and reviewers, whilst the reaction to the film Innale Vare was divided.
Asif made his acting debut in Shyamaprasad’s 2009 film Ritu, in which he co-starred with two other actors. Critics praised all three of them for their efforts. Sathyan Anthikad directed his second film, Kadha Thudarunnu (2010), which starred him, Mamata Mohandas, and Jayaram. It performed well in the Malayalam box office. Apoorvaragam, a Malayalam thriller, was also released in 2010. Despite the film’s poor box office performance, Asif was named Best Villain at the Asianet Film Awards. The Bollywood comedy All the Best: Fun Begins was remade in Malayalam as Best of Luck the following year. Unlike the original, however, the Malayalam adaptation received only negative feedback. The Malayalam thriller Traffic, in which he co-starred with three other key characters, earned well at the box office and received positive reviews from reviewers in 2011. Because of the films’ popularity, Chennaiyil Oru Naal was released in 2013 and Traffic in Hindi was released in May 2016. Salt N’ Pepper, a romantic comedy about two separate couples, was another major smash for him that year. His 2011 film Ithu Nammude Katha received positive reviews but performed poorly at the box office.
In 2012, Asif appeared in 13 films. Despite the fact that his most recent film, Asuravithu, was panned by critics and public alike, he was nominated for Best Actor in a Negative Part at the 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards for his role as Aloshy in Sibi Malayil’s Unnam. However, Asif’s films did not fare well at the box office in the years that followed. Most of his films received negative reviews, with only Husbands of Goa, directed by Saju Surendran, performing well at the box office.
