Prithviraj Sukumaran Upcoming Movies: Prithviraj Sukumaran has already appeared in four films this year, including “Jana Gana Mana” with Suraj Venjarmoodu, “Bro Daddy” with Mohanlal, “Kaduva,” and “Therapy.” His long-delayed film Gold was intended to be released in theatres in September, but it was pushed back due to technical difficulties, and the producers have not stated when it would be released again.
Director Fazil had Prithviraj come in for a screen test when he was still in school in Australia because his family was in the performing profession. Prithviraj, who was 19 at the time, auditioned for the position, but the production was cancelled for unclear reasons. Fazil, on the other side, eventually defended him to the film’s director, Ranjith. In the years that followed, Prithviraj was cast in Nandanam, his first film (2002). However, the previous film, Nakshathrakkannulla Rajakumaran Avanundoru Rajakumari (2002), did not fare well with reviewers or audiences.
Following that, he appeared in films directed by Vinayan, Lohithadas, Bhadran, and Shyamprasad. Despite the fact that Prithviraj is a gifted performer, neither the public nor reviewers have embraced his films. Director Shyamprasad cast Prithviraj in the lead character of his film Akale because of his talent and intelligence, not because he expected the film to fare well at the box office (2004).
Kana Kandaen was Prithviraj’s debut Tamil film role (2005). The next year, he appeared in Parijatham (2006) alongside Saranya Bhagyaraj. In the end, the film did extremely well. For his work in M. Padamakumar’s film Vaasthavam, he was the youngest actor to receive the Kerala State Award for Best Actor in 2006. From there, he appeared in films like as “Classmates,” “Chocolate,” “Thalappavu,” and “Thirakkatha” (2008). His nuanced depictions of Naxalite martyr Joseph in Thalappavu and director Akbar Ahmed in Thirakkatha garnered particularly positive reviews.

Gold, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s latest film, will be released in October or November 2022. Kaapa is presently under post-production, with a December 2022 release date planned. In addition to the Malayalam films, Prithviraj Sukumaran will play a significant role in the pan-Indian film “Salaar,” which will be released in many languages. Prithviraj is also the director of L2: Empuraan, a film starring Mohanlal. Prithviraj will play a minor role in the film.
