Dhanush’s Nene Vasthunna Movie Review: The Tamil and Telugu movie Thiruchitrambalam was a big hit at the box office, but Dhanush isn’t doing much to promote his new movie, “Nene Vasthunna.” Surprisingly, neither the movie’s trailer nor any marketing materials in Tamil have been made available. Even though the movie wasn’t supposed to come out until September 29, 2022, we’ll talk about our thoughts and opinions in detail below.

Movie Verdict

When Nene Vasthunna was announced, many people thought it would be another big hit for Dhanush and Selvaragavan. However, early reviews showed that the movie would be more low-key. Dhanush and Selvaragavan have made many classic movies, including “Pudhupettai,” “Kadhal Kondein,” and “Mayakkam Enna.”

Even though Dhanush tried to save the movie, he wasn’t able to do so. In the second half of the movie, when the main character’s past is revealed, the story picks up speed. The trauma he went through as a child makes sense as an explanation for his strange behavior. The beginning of the movie is very interesting because it tells us about the main characters and the plot. The idea behind the movie is interesting, but the drama is unbearable, and the narration is so slow that it kills any momentum the first half of the movie might have had.

Dhanush plays two very different roles convincingly: a family man who is just laid-back and easy-going and a crazy person who shows him at his best. Elli Avaram and Induja gave great performances, Selvaraghvan proved once again that he is a good actor, and the rest of the cast did a good job as a whole. People are really interested in the movie’s plot twists that have to do with Deja Vu.

Selva Raghavan, who is known as one of India’s best and most original filmmakers, put everything he had into Nene Vasthunn, but his story didn’t end up grabbing people’s attention. His story, the way he directs, and the people he creates are all the best.

Technically, Nene Vasthunna works because Om Prakash was able to film some beautiful landscapes in Ooty, as well as some intense close-ups of the main characters and interesting set pieces. Even though Yuvan Shankar Raja’s songs didn’t work well in Telugu and Tamil, the background score was great, and the rest of the technical crew did a great job.

Nene Vasthunna is a good movie for people who like to see a wide range of styles.

Plus Points:
