Code NameTiranga Hindi Movie Review: Parineeti has been in a lot of movies throughout the years, but none of them have been commercial successes. Unfazed, she recently published Code Name Tiranga, a spy action thriller. With high expectations after a strong buildup in the trailer and a release date of October 14, 2022, let’s dive into a comprehensive assessment to see whether the movie is worthwhile.
Story
After the 2001 attack on the parliament, Khalid Omar (Sharad Kelkar) disappeared. Years later, after learning that he was evading capture in Turkey, the Indian government began Operation Code Name Tiranga, with RAW agent Durga (Parineeti) in charge. Will she give up everything she cherishes for her country? Durga fell in love with Dr. Mirza Ali (Harrdy Sandhu) while living as Ismat in Gaziantep, but their romance was hampered by the fact that they were both serving on The narrative goes on to describe how she managed to capture Khalid Omar.

Movie Verdict
Parineeti has been in other movies after the popularity of her first one, Ishaqzaade, but none of them have been financially successful. Nevertheless, despite its shallow plot—the same idea has been utilised in several Bollywood espionage movies—Code Name Tiranga may signal a turning point in her career.
With a compelling premise and a compelling purpose for the protagonist, the first half of the movie moves quickly, and the interval hooks viewers to stay for the second half. While the second half is enjoyable for a while, the tempo slows down in the third act with the addition of love scenes, and the combat sequences are reduced to simple fireworks.
The movie’s well-choreographed action moments are a visual treat for lovers of the genre, but its emphasis on patriotism falls hollow and detracts from the movie’s overall impact.
Although Parineeti gives outstanding performances as the brave RAW agents Durga and Ismat, she falls short in the sad scenes. In his acting debut, music superstar Harrdy Sandhu performed admirably as Dr. Mirza Ali, yet he came across as awkward and unnatural the entire time. Sharad Kelkar, on the other hand, gave a fantastic performance as Omar Khalid, and it was nice to watch him in such a new kind of part.
Despite the fact that his previous film, The Girl on the Train, starring Parineeti, was a failure, it appears that Ribhu Dasgupta is still in the same terrorism trance because he managed to engage the audience to some extent with Code Name Tiranga.
Technically, Code Name Tiranga is only passable; while Tribhuvan Babu Sadineni’s cinematography is largely effective and some scenes were downright painful to watch, the visual effects by Anuj Deshpande are subpar (helicopters look like cartoons), the songs by Jaidev Kumar and Vipin Patwa failed to connect, and the background score could have been much stronger.
Fans of the genre should watch the spy action thriller Code Name Tiranga at least once.
