Actor Ajmal Ameer, who rose to fame with his powerful performance in the blockbuster film Ko directed by K.V. Anand, is back in the spotlight with his latest film, Accused. Despite delivering strong performances in several projects, Ajmal struggled to maintain consistent stardom as many of his lead films underperformed at the box office.
His latest outing, Accused, received attention for its intriguing storyline but failed to make a mark theatrically due to its weak narration and uneven execution. However, the film is now set to find a new audience through OTT release. The makers have officially announced that Accused will premiere on both Aha Tamil and Tentkotta on October 24, 2025, offering viewers another chance to experience this crime thriller from the comfort of their homes.
The film features an interesting ensemble cast, including Ajmal, Udhaya, Yogibabu, and Jhanvika Kalakeri in pivotal roles. The presence of comedy star Yogibabu promises lighter moments amidst the intense storyline, while Ajmal leads the drama with his signature screen presence.
Accused is directed by Prabhu Srinivas and produced by Al. Udhaya, “Daya” N. Pannerselvam, and M. Thangavel under a promising banner. The film’s technical team includes Maruthanayagam as the cinematographer, K.L. Praveen as the editor, and Naren Balakumar as the music composer.
With its dual OTT release, Accused aims to reach a wider digital audience and gain the recognition it missed in theatres. Fans of Ajmal and Tamil thrillers can stream the movie starting October 24, 2025, exclusively on Aha Tamil and Tentkotta.
