Agent Anand Santosh Web Series Review: A reputable Telugu OTT platform called Shanmukh Jaswanth asked him to work on the upcoming online series Agent Anand Santhosh. Since this is the first miniseries that Aha has backed and has the same cast as Shanmukh’s web series, let’s get started and see if the hype is justified.
Story
The most important rule of the detective office is “Don’t take a case you can’t afford.” Anand Santhosh (Shanmukh Jaswanth) joins the office because he must follow the same rules as the other employees. At first, Anand Santhosh hears about silly things like lost milk packets and neighbors’ slippers. He can’t start to solve the puzzle until he realises that a lot of people are kidnapping people.

Verdict
Agent Anand Santhosh’s story isn’t very original, like Chantabbai and the more recent Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya’s, but Shanmukh’s comic timing and the show’s clever use of his skills kept the miniseries interesting. Shanmukh’s trademark comedic timing was used to the fullest by the people who made the show and the story. Seven or eight episodes would be the same.
When the tone changes to something more serious, we lose interest because the plot doesn’t feel like it belongs in a series; kidnappings are happening in the city, but they don’t feel like they belong there. We liked it when things were funny, but when things got more serious, we lost interest. The show is fun to watch because it has a few funny parts and real action scenes shot in old city neighborhoods. Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya is another person who comes to mind.
Shanmukh Jaswanth does a decent job playing Anand Santhosh, but there are many times when he just seems like Shanmukh. Even though this isn’t very important, we should still praise him for his change and the other actors for giving it their all.
Subbu K and Shanmukh, who both used to work in the software development field, wrote this series. Arun Pawar did a good job with a few blocks, but he couldn’t make the information interesting.
We’re looking forward to seeing more of his work in the future.
Many of the scenes are too busy, but some are done well, and Ajay Arasada’s amazing work saved the show in many ways. Also, the other technical teams all gave it a thumbs up.
Agent Anand Santhosh is the answer for people who want a well-written detective series.
