His debut acting part was in the 2010 film Malarvadi Arts Club, which was directed by his college classmate Vineeth Sreenivasan. Varghese P. K. and Celiene Susan, Aju Varghese’s parents, gave birth to him in the Keralan city of Thiruvalla. He has one sister, who is named Anju. Since February 24th, 2014, Aju and Augustina have been a happy couple. On October 28, 2014, a girl named Juana and a boy named Evan were born as twins. In both Thattathin Marayathu and Malarvadi Arts Club, his college classmate and filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan cast him in a significant part. He starred in Sevenes (2011), which was helmed by seasoned filmmakers Joshiy and Mayamohini, in between the two movies. He has been in a number of films over the years that have received positive reviews. Thattathin Marayathu, Oru Vadakkan Selfie, Kili Poyi, Zachariyayude Garbhinikal, Ohm Shanthi Oshaana, Punyalan Agarbattis, Vellimoonga, Ormayundo Ee Mukham, Kunjiramayanam, Su.. Su… are a few of these.
He co-starred alongside Vineeth Sreenivasan in the critically and commercially successful films Thattathin Marayathu (2012) and Oru Vadakkan Selfie (2015).
