Anirudh Ravichander Wiki and Biography: Anirudh Ravichander (born October 16, 1990) is an Indian music composer and performer who primarily works in Tamil films. He is the son of actor Ravi Raghavendra and classical dancer Lakshmi Ravichander and the nephew of Latha Rajinikanth. He is so related to Aishwarya, Soundarya, and Hrishikesh.

He was a bass player for a band called Zinx at his school. At the juvenile age of 10, he started making music, and at the age of twenty-one, with the release of “3,” he had his first significant commercial success. He was the pupil leader at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan in K.K. Nagar (Head Boy). He obtained a degree from Chennai’s Loyola College in 2011 as a backup in case his music career failed.

Anirudh studied piano at London’s famed Trinity College of Music and received a diploma in sound engineering from soundtech-media. He also played in a fusion band that took influence from the Carnatic music he had learnt. When they were both in high school, Anirudh had participated in a TV competition that A judged. Among the top six acts were R. Rahman and his band. Vaishnavi, the sister of Anirudh, is a lawyer who resides in London with her spouse Abhinav. Aditya, Vaishnavi’s brother, is a singer. Amitash, his close friend and co-star in Velaiilla Pattadhari. The cousin brother of Anirudh is Aswin Raghavendra Ravi.

Anirudh’s great-grandfather was the well-known filmmaker Krishnaswami Subrahmanyam, who worked in the 1930s. Meenakshi, his great-grandmother, was Kollywood’s first female music composer.

Anirudh made his music composition debut in the movie 3, which was helmed by Dhanush and starred his cousin Aishwarya R. Dhanush. He composed the music for Aishwaryaa’s short films while he was a student at Loyola College, and Aishwaryaa was so impressed with the calibre of his work that she hired him to help with her first foray into the business world.

Early in November 2011, a song from the movie Why This Kolaveri Di! was leaked, went viral online, and on November 16, 2011, the film’s producers decided to release the song to the public. The song’s quick success on social media was made possible by the catchy kuthu sounds and endearing “Tanglish” (a mashup of Tamil and English). The song quickly went viral in India and became the most-searched video on the website in that country.

Within a matter of weeks, the video received two medals from YouTube for its rapid rise to popularity: a gold one for “Recently Most Popular” and a silver one for “Trending.” The arrangement of this song was built on South Indian folk rhythms. The remaining instruments are acoustic guitar, keyboards, nádaswaram, shehnai, saxophone, urumee, thavil drums, and a few electronic synths and scratches.

S. appeared on Anirudh’s subsequent album, Velaiyilla Pattathari. The movie, which starred Janaki, Dhanush, and Anirudh, opened to positive reviews in February 2014.
