Salim Khan, a well-known screenwriter, is his father; Sushila Charak, a dancer and Bollywood actor; and Helen Khan, his stepmother. Salim Khan and Sushila Charak’s second son is Arbaaz Khan. He attended the same high school as Salman Khan, a famous Bollywood actor (Scindia School, Gwalior), and he is related to Sohail Khan, an actor and producer. Alvira Khan, who is now Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and Arpita Khan, who is his adopted sister, are both his sisters. He is related to actors Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma, respectively.

In the 1996 movie Daraar, Arbaaz Khan made his acting debut as a vicious husband batterer. He received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for his performance. Two examples of the numerous multi-starrer films in which he has appeared include the 1998 film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, for which he was nominated for a Filmfare Award as Best Supporting Actor, and the 2004 film Garv: Pride and Honour, in which he co-starred with his brother Salman.

He played the adversary in the financially lucrative 2003 movie Qayamat: City Under Threat. In the comedy Hulchul (2004), Malamaal Weekly (2006), and Bhagam Bhag (2008), all of which were directed by Priyadarshan, he plays supporting characters (2006). He played a police officer (Constable Javed Shaikh) and a gangster (Moscow Chikna) in the minor roles of the 2007 blockbusters Shootout at Lokhandwala and Fool and Final, respectively. Alongside his brother Sohail Khan, he also starred in the blockbuster Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza acted in the movie. He co-starred in 2009’s Kisaan alongside Sohail and portrayed the antagonist in Jai Veeru. Khan has appeared in a number of TV episodes as a guest performer over the years, including the Karishma: The Miracles of Destiny series from 2003.

Dabangg, Arbaz Khan’s debut production, debuted in September 2010; the same month, he established Arbaaz Khan Productions. In the movie, Arbaaz played Makhi, the antagonist Chulbul Pandey’s younger brother, while Salman played the villain. An enormous smash, “Munni Badnaam,” starring his ex-wife Malaika Arora Khan.
