Mani Ratnam invited him to audition for his upcoming film after seeing him in one of his ads. Arvind appeared in Mani Ratnam’s action-drama Thalapathi in 1991 alongside Mammootty and Rajinikanth, two more South Indian film legends. Arvind made his directorial debut with that movie. He later went on to appear in Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi movies.
Arvind Swami’s lifetime ambition was to become a doctor, although you might not have been aware of this. He formerly worked as a model to help pay for his college costs. Throughout his performance, the audience members of the Loyola Theatre Society were frigid to him. A few times after that, Mani Ratnam saw him in an advertisement and got in touch with him to schedule a meeting. The group immediately began instructing him in the fundamentals of filmmaking.
The final two movies he made before taking a break were En Swasa Kaatre and Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya. He spent nearly ten years in business before returning to Kadal and Ceylon 13 years later to perform voice-over work. and have continued their performing careers since 2013.
