On September 14, 1984, Ayushmann Khurrana was born in Chandigarh, India. Although his birth name was Nishant Khurrana, his father gave him the new name Ayushman Khurana when he was three years old. Ayushmann’s family took him to see the Madhuri Dixit-starring film Tezaab when he was four years old. The encounter strengthened his determination to pursue an acting career. He also made the decision to enrol in Panjab University’s theatre programme in order to hone his acting skills.
