Boney Kapoor, a producer of Bollywood movies, is 62 years old (he was born on November 11, 1955). He was born Achal Kapoor and raised in the entertainment business by Punjabi filmmakers who moved to India from Peshawar, Pakistan. He and his family initially resided in Raj Kapoor’s parking garage when they arrived in Mumbai. In those hard circumstances, his family was even forced to relocate to Mumbai’s “chawl” district, a slum.

Kapoor started off in the industry by working with legends like Shakti Samanta. His brother Anil Kapoor and his future wife Sridevi starred in Shekhar Kapur’s science fiction picture Mr. India, which is still his most well-known work as a producer.
