He graduated from Kishori Raman College in Mathura with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry as his undergraduate degree.

Brijendra Kala Early Life

In 1969, Brijendra Kala was born in the Pauri Garhwal area of Uttarakhand, in the village of Sumari. His father was a veterinarian. His father had always encouraged him to work in medicine.

Kala had submitted an application to the National School of Dramatic Repertory, but by the time he arrived for the interview at the specified address, the batch had already been accepted. He also applied to the Shri Ram Center for the Performing Arts Repertory but received the same response.

Brijendra Kala Career

Kala moved to the film industry after over 18 years in the theatre business. He made his acting debut as a newspaper hawker in a small part in the 2003 film Haasil. Many of Kala’s 2005 films included Shabd, Raghu Romeo, and Bunty Aur Babli as their leading actors. He appeared in many episodes of Ahista Ahista, Gafla, Mithya, Jab We Met, Aloo Chaat, Dasvidaniya, Saluum, Raat Gayi Baat Gayi, Karthik Calling Karthik, and Dus Tola.

Irfan Khan gained notoriety for his portrayal as a journalist in the 2012 Tigmanshu Paan Singh Tomar film. Amir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Boman Irani, and Saurabh Shukla appeared in the film PK, and Brijendra had a supporting part as an idol salesman (Murti trader outside of temple).

She received widespread praise for her performance in Rajat Kapoor’s Ankhon Dekhi as Uncle Shabbily Dressed (2013).
