Verdict
The Malayalam film industry is without a doubt the finest at creating films with quality content and innovative production methods. Despite having a small budget, Malayalam film industry creators usually work harder to produce the greatest results. One such thriller that took a lot of work to produce is Christopher.
The beginning of the film is intriguing, as it establishes the relationship between Vinay Rai and Mammootty as well as the narrative of Christopher’s backstory. The movie got more exciting as it went along since there were so many well-known stars in it. The movie’s interval contains several intriguing insights that keep us waiting for the second half. Due to its compelling second half, you will be glued to the screen the entire time.
Mammootty has already reached 70, but when we see him perform, we might not even notice his advanced age because he appears youthful and vibrant as always. He performed his role flawlessly and with great conviction. Vinay Rai was chosen for a part that, in light of his presence in “Thupparivaalan,” will be a piece of cake for him. Sneha and Amala Paul performed admirably in their small roles. Siddique, Shine Tom Chacko, and all other performers performed the roles that were necessary for the characters.
The Christopher movie is excellent technically. Justin Varghese’s music fits the events perfectly and adds the necessary intensity to a couple scenes. Another excellent aspect of this film is the cinematography, which was done by Faiz Siddik. His shadowy frames help to create a suspenseful atmosphere. The production values are excellent.
The script was written by Uday Krishna, and director Unnikrishnan handled it expertly, keeping the audience interested until the very last scene. He could have, however, paid a bit more attention to the tempo, which appeared sluggish in a few instances.
Christopher is an intriguing thriller that was produced by the Malayalam cinema industry, and it has the potential to be translated into other languages.
